Capable of dealing with all the knocks and bumps of beginner sailing, the self-draining cockpit and buoyancy tubes (when in Dinghy mode) ensure the Maverick is extremely safe to sail.
With the highest specification equipment fitted as standard, the Maverick is a pleasure to sail in either mode dinghy or windsurfer keeping gear failure to an absolute minimum. Complete with a 3-year hull warranty.
Maverick 5 & 6.25
The Perfect All-rounder
The Topaz Maverick dinghy comes with 5.00m mainsail for juniors with no battens so it can be reefed or a 6.25m battened sail for adults. The hard wearing 5.00m Dacron mainsail is favoured by first-time sailors and holiday companies. The Topaz Maverick is simple and lightweight enough to be operated by a child single-handedly, although the Topaz Maverick is often used as a two person Dinghy. There is the unique option to change the rig to a windsurfer for those windy days or a stand up paddle-board when there is no wind.
